Gruffalo Encounter!

Oh, don’t you know, there’s no such thing as a Gruffalo!

Or is there….? Join award-winning storyteller, Peilin, in a hunt for the terrible Gruffalo with his terrible jaws and claws! First, learn about the other ferocious beasts that inspired this book and then enjoy the hilarious tale of Mouse and his not-so-imaginary creation. Then, create your own fearsome Gruffalo out of mixed media materials. Then, put on your Masterchef Junior hat and make your own Gruffalo claws out of chocolate brownies under the guidance of Le Cordon Bleu-certified pastry chef, Chef Amber!

Date: Monday, 18 June, 10.30am – 12pm

Duration: 1.5 hours

Things to Take Note

  • This is a child-independent programme. Your child will get the most out of it if she can safely stir things in a bowl and use a pair of scissors (child-safe ones, of course!). If you would like an adult to accompany her, just let us know, so we can plan the programme to best suit her needs.
  • This baked item contain gluten and does NOT contain nuts. It will be made in a kitchen that handles both nuts and gluten. Please let us know if your child has any needs, so we can work out something for her!
  • PPPS:  We need a minimum of 4 sign-ups one week before to hold the workshop. You will be informed via email 2 days before with the next available workshop slot, if the workshop does not happen. So invite your buddies to come play together! Terms and conditions here.
